The organisations in our dive community supporting this project with their Mission 2020 pledge are putting the future of the oceans ahead of simply making a profit – they are making significant changes to their business and their impacts on the environment. By World Oceans Day 2020 we will eliminate single use plastic packaging from our products. We will continue to develop new products and redevelop existing ones using recycled material. We will become truly OceanPositive.
As PADI drives toward a fully-integrated digital learning system, we lessen our dependency on packaging, thereby minimizing the plastic footprint of hundreds of thousands of divers every year. We will further reduce plastic waste across our supply chain and rally our 6,600 dive centers and resorts to reduce single-use plastics.
At Halcyon Dive Systems, we pledge to reduce our plastic and carbon footprint by 2020. We are committed to: Eliminate single-use plastic packaging of all our products; Significantly increase the use of recycled goods; Sponsor Ghost Fishing cleanups around the world and power the Halcyon manufacturing facility with solar energy.
At Aqua Lung, we are continuing our commitment to eliminate single-use plastic packaging on all of our products worldwide, whenever & wherever possible, finding sustainable alternatives everywhere we can. We will continue to further our use and implementation of renewable energy sources at our facilities across the globe.
We pledge that by World Ocean’s Day 2020 we will continue to improve in all areas of our current “Ocean Friendly” policy to: Recycle, Re-use and Reduce wherever possible; only ever use biodegradable, compostable and/or recyclable packaging materials and reduce our ecological footprint wherever possible.
Our fleet vessels will be completely single-use plastic free by the end of 2019. Single-use plastic water bottles have already been removed from our Red Sea fleet. We pledge to minimise pollution on our boats and in our worldwide offices, achieving this whilst educating yet also respecting local communities.
We will minimize single-use plastics in packaging and select durable materials to ensure a long lifetime for products and capability for maintenance. We will optimize deliveries and offset carbon emissions from all deliveries. Through our certified, audited environmental-management-system we are, and continue to be, committed to save our common playground.
At GUE, we pledge to launch an annual GUE Cleanup Event. We feel we can have the greatest impact by utilizing our network of divers in a worldwide cleanup of our waters. We hope to power our office with solar, will continue to recycle, and eliminate any single use plastic.

The sea has always been at the heart of Mares. By World Oceans Day 2020 we pledge to reduce our environmentally unfriendly packaging including single-use plastic by 70%, adopting sustainable alternatives and minimising waste. We will also innovate techniques in product development to reduce our environmental impact in the future.
SANTI Diving is constantly working on improvement in the field of environment protection and implementation of the new actions aiming at the oceans and planets preservation. By 2020 we plan to replace the plastic bags by biodegradable ones, increase the effort to find the suppliers delivering the the recyclable elements.
SubGravity is committed to avoid single use plastic where there is an alternative, sustainable option available. We will work towards a 75% or more reduction in single use plastic by the year 2020. Additionally SubGravity is committed to continue recycling by shipping orders in previously used packaging whenever possible.
By 2020 we pledge to have minimized single-use plastic usage at our facility and at dive events. We will offer preference to suppliers who offer alternatives to single-use packaging materials, seek community partners to promote conservation and ocean debris awareness, and offer customers more opportunities to participate in cleanup events.
As an ocean lover and local, inland dive centre it is important to educate divers and non-divers alike, as to the impact of the use of single use plastics is having on our oceans. We pledge to clean beaches and eliminate our use of single-use plastics in our practice.
We pledge to reduce the single use plastic packaging and reduce plastic waste on board and in our diving facilities, already one, a personalize water bottle is to be handed to guests for use during diving tour so do not need to bring a plastic water bottle.
Aqua Tci will continue to encourage our divers to stand up and protect our most valuable resource - the world's oceans, through education and a sense of stewardship. We already have reusable cups, ice blocks and environmentally safe sunscreen on our boat and are aiming to be paper-free by 2020.
Duck Diver Marketing pledges to reduce its use of single-use plastics in both our business and personal lives. While we are a small firm, we proudly work with a wide range of dive companies, and we will encourage our business partners, and the dive community, to do the same.
Continue to reuse, reduce and recycle, encourage all our customers to do the same and promote positive examples of this on our social media. Encourage all divers to have their own drinking bottle as part of their standard dive kit. By 2020 training manuals will be online versions where available.
SI TECH have set a goal to take a greater responsibility for a more sustainable production and product. The goal is; to work to reduce single use plastics, recycle more fractions, look at more environmental solutions and materials in production and working for recycling of products.
Reduce single use plastics and encourage the use of eLearning. We will continue to remove plastics from the ocean including, but not limited to, Ghost Fishing gear by supporting Ghost Fishing UK in both training and volunteering.
Cork Dive Centre pledges to introduce mission 2020 as part of our training programme for new divers and request our club and visiting divers to remove any plastic items found in the sea during their dives. We will exchange single use plastic items for recyclable and ethically sourced equipment.
Aquatic Adventures pledges to increase our environmental projects. Conservation is a cornerstone of our training & we carry out monthly clean up dives with the help of our club members. By 2020 we commit to strengthen this focus with more conservation projects & by supporting vendors who maintain sustainable practices.
We pledge to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible and encourage others to do the same. From eliminating single-use plastic and offering alternatives to reducing flights and product shipping. By promoting and working together with partners that focus on marine conservation we join hands for our oceans.
At Arimair Diving, we commit ourselves to: - install ecological anchorages - cleaning the seabed from rubbish during our dives, as well as the embarking places such as beaches and ports - rinsed the dive material in a collective bin - avoid much as possible the waste like plastic
Deep Blue Divers’ administrative ‘paperwork’ is now done electronically and we pledge to continue reducing paper and eliminating single-use plastics, also by supporting other eco-friendly businesses whenever possible. We will further promote education and awareness of ocean conservation and inspire divers and snorkelers to love and care for the ocean.
Rainforest Scuba pledge not to use plastic bags for any sales in our business. We encourage the use of refillable bottles and are happy to refill these for you. We do not encourage plastic packaging and will endeavour to avoid them at all cost. We are part of Tetracycle recycling.
Our dive center and staff will commit ourselves and to help our divers to reduce to zero the single use plastic, continue our everyday efforts to clean dive spots, reduce and use more fuel efficient engines and to educate and involve our clients and local community.
We pledge to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE in all aspects of our operation. We are REDUCING waste, actively encouraging students, staff and our community alike to do the same. We will continue to REUSE packaging, RECYCLE un-reusable waste, and REDUCE debris in our environment with coordinated clean-up initiatives.
We, SCUBA CULTURE pledge to maintain our focus on remaining industry leaders with green initiatives such as our investment in renewable energy to power our dive shop, a focus on recycling packaging and on selecting suppliers who have strong green ethics and focus themselves on reducing the use of plastics.

We, D°LUXE Dive Gear, have changed our shipping packaging and are now shipping all our products to the customer without unnecessary single plastic packing. Our products are supplied CO2-neutral in recycled carton. Plastic tape is omitted. Whenever and wherever possible, we try to find sustainable alternatives.
At 3D2real.be we only use for our 3D products 90% recycled plastic from pet bottles to make custom cave markers . By the year 2020 we pledge to find a solution to use 100% recycled plastic.
ARC Marine, the UK company behind eco-friendly Reef Cubes, pledges to work tirelessly to provide non-toxic plastic free products that all marine projects globally can use to deliver sustainable marine habitat to accelerate reef creation. Everyone we employ is a certified diver and all commit to eliminate single use plastic.
Scubatista Divers are 100% supporting Mission 2020. We are always encouraging our divers to protect oceans by reducing plastic use in daily life. Our little effort now will affect better future environment.
The MORE AQUA SHOW underwater activities fair (March 2019 SPAIN) will disseminate the pollution problems of the oceans and what the plastic implies in the marine environment through conferences to raise awareness of the importance of oceans on our planet and the importance of the human being on its conservation.
AquaSamoa pledge to continue to adopt sustainable alternatives and minimise waste We have eleminated the use of plastic drinking bottles by replacing with a water cooler with reusable cups on board our boats We encourage the use of PADI E-Learning courses, sell Marine Friendly Sunscreen and bamboo straws.

We at Dykmagasinet/Oceanic Tech – WeDive Karlstad AB pledge to keep using recycled shipping material and to make every dive a pick up trash dive. We will cut out single-use plastic to the best of our ability, reduce our carbon footprint and continue to spread awareness about ocean sustainability.
