The organisations in our dive community supporting this project with their Mission 2020 pledge are putting the future of the oceans ahead of simply making a profit – they are making significant changes to their business and their impacts on the environment. By World Oceans Day 2020 we will eliminate single use plastic packaging from our products. We will continue to develop new products and redevelop existing ones using recycled material. We will become truly OceanPositive.
As PADI drives toward a fully-integrated digital learning system, we lessen our dependency on packaging, thereby minimizing the plastic footprint of hundreds of thousands of divers every year. We will further reduce plastic waste across our supply chain and rally our 6,600 dive centers and resorts to reduce single-use plastics.
At Halcyon Dive Systems, we pledge to reduce our plastic and carbon footprint by 2020. We are committed to: Eliminate single-use plastic packaging of all our products; Significantly increase the use of recycled goods; Sponsor Ghost Fishing cleanups around the world and power the Halcyon manufacturing facility with solar energy.
At Aqua Lung, we are continuing our commitment to eliminate single-use plastic packaging on all of our products worldwide, whenever & wherever possible, finding sustainable alternatives everywhere we can. We will continue to further our use and implementation of renewable energy sources at our facilities across the globe.
We pledge that by World Ocean’s Day 2020 we will continue to improve in all areas of our current “Ocean Friendly” policy to: Recycle, Re-use and Reduce wherever possible; only ever use biodegradable, compostable and/or recyclable packaging materials and reduce our ecological footprint wherever possible.
Our fleet vessels will be completely single-use plastic free by the end of 2019. Single-use plastic water bottles have already been removed from our Red Sea fleet. We pledge to minimise pollution on our boats and in our worldwide offices, achieving this whilst educating yet also respecting local communities.
We will minimize single-use plastics in packaging and select durable materials to ensure a long lifetime for products and capability for maintenance. We will optimize deliveries and offset carbon emissions from all deliveries. Through our certified, audited environmental-management-system we are, and continue to be, committed to save our common playground.
At GUE, we pledge to launch an annual GUE Cleanup Event. We feel we can have the greatest impact by utilizing our network of divers in a worldwide cleanup of our waters. We hope to power our office with solar, will continue to recycle, and eliminate any single use plastic.

The sea has always been at the heart of Mares. By World Oceans Day 2020 we pledge to reduce our environmentally unfriendly packaging including single-use plastic by 70%, adopting sustainable alternatives and minimising waste. We will also innovate techniques in product development to reduce our environmental impact in the future.
SANTI Diving is constantly working on improvement in the field of environment protection and implementation of the new actions aiming at the oceans and planets preservation. By 2020 we plan to replace the plastic bags by biodegradable ones, increase the effort to find the suppliers delivering the the recyclable elements.
SubGravity is committed to avoid single use plastic where there is an alternative, sustainable option available. We will work towards a 75% or more reduction in single use plastic by the year 2020. Additionally SubGravity is committed to continue recycling by shipping orders in previously used packaging whenever possible.
Sunset SCUBA pledges to continue to use PADI eLearning®, reducing the carbon footprint from printed plastics. As well as stressing environmental awareness and conservation practices on every dive.
We pledge to use only paper carrier bags throughout our company by 2020.
At Tovatec we pledge have our lights packaged in re-usable soft case packaging by the end of 2019. We are committed to the protection and reduction of our carbon footprint. We further commit to the continuation of our donation efforts in helping to protect our Oceans and its inhabitants.
Oasis Explorers doesn't offer single-use plastic bottles or straws to our guests. We pledge to export and recycle our used batteries, and choose suppliers that reduce their single-use plastic packaging. We will also hold a Mission 2020 event to clean up our dive sites and raise awareness for the cause.
Here at Ratio Computers we have been and still are reducing the use of bubble wrap. Besides, the new computer boxes will no longer be painted and will be made of 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard. The health of our oceans is and will always be one of our priorities.
SI TECH have set a goal to take a greater responsibility for a more sustainable production and product. The goal is; to work to reduce single use plastics, recycle more fractions, look at more environmental solutions and materials in production and working for recycling of products.
At Adventure Mine of Tuna Hästberg, we pledge to reduce our usage of plastics and reduce our carbon footprint by 2020 We are actively working towards: reducing of usage of singel-use plastics and exchanging those by reusable • investing in charging station for electric cars by our facilities.
No more single use packaging. Our housings are made primarily from aluminium, the parts currently made from plastic will be replaced by 3D printed parts by 2020. The 3D printing material is made from formic acid, which is entirely biologically degradable.
We think green
We, D°LUXE Dive Gear, have changed our shipping packaging and are now shipping all our products to the customer without unnecessary single plastic packing. Our products are supplied CO2-neutral in recycled carton. Plastic tape is omitted. Whenever and wherever possible, we try to find sustainable alternatives.
Our sustainable journey started in 2018 with banning single-use plastic. By World's Ocean Day 2020, we pledge to extend fully our Zero Waste program. Also, in order to increase environment awareness in our diving community, we will organize local actions as beach clean-ups, educational film screenings and lectures.
Utila Dive Center pledges to advocate environmental best practices through our professional training and dedicated conservation programs including using Reef Safe Products through our partnership with Stream2Sea, Solar Powered Facilities, 100% Project Aware partners, No Plastic and the development of our own Coral Nursery.
We work to further the understanding and appreciation of the world by re-establishing our connection with mother nature We promote responsible wildlife tours in Los Cabos, research and environmental education programs We stopped to use plastic bags and until 2020 our proposal is stopped with the plastic bottles on tours.
We pledge to remove the use of plastic carriers and packaging in our centre. Encouraging our divers to become more AWARE of plastic impact. Reusable water bottles are available in centre. Our long-standing support of Dive Against Debris will be ramped up with a Dive-Against-Debris dive included in trips.
Our dive centre is committed to raising awareness about ocean conservation and pledge to do our utmost with regards to reducing single use plastic, protecting our local waters by adopting a dive site, organising Dive Against Debris clean-ups and selling plastic free merchandise We are slowly integrating Padi E-Learning also.
Sydney Dive Safari pledge to source all our products from suppliers with an environmentally conscious intention by 2020. We are committed to work with brands that are adopting sustainable alternatives to preserve and protect our ocean environment.
Here at Hydronauts, its our mission to protect the environment and our aquatic home through eliminating single-use-plastics, promoting completely paperless agencies and other sustainable companies, and promoting the importance of marine conversation all divers, we hope to lead the efforts in reducing the communities environmental footprint.
For us in AdrenaLTika the oceans’ future is very important. We want to limit plastic, yet we are forced in medicine to use disposable items daily. All the more we say 100% NO PLASTIC in our office. No more plastic cups, bags, straws, teaspoons. Baby steps change the world.
We pledge to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible and encourage others to do the same. Scubatista Divers are 100% supporting Mission 2020. We are always encouraging our divers to protect oceans by reducing plastic use in daily life. Our little effort now will affect better future environment.
Euro-Divers Maldives encourages all dives not to touch anything under water, we do not feed any fish under water, we teach our divers to be buoyant under water in order to avoid any contact with corals. We care about the ocean and engage in beach and ocean clean up's!
We pledge to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE in all aspects of our operation. We are REDUCING waste, actively encouraging students, staff and our community alike to do the same. We will continue to REUSE packaging, RECYCLE un-reusable waste, and REDUCE debris in our environment with coordinated clean-up initiatives.
The Paralenz pledge to the ocean, is to keep all Paralenz packaging as produced today with cardboard and sealed with paper tape only. Aside from this, we pledge to continue our affiliation program to encourage collaboration between dive centers and NGOs as well as channeling funds towards ocean conservation.
We have our 2 hour power cleanups where we organize a major beach cleanup with the local community. We also sell caps made out of recycled plastic, ocean safe sunscreen, shampoo bars, metal drinking flasks & straws. We serve drinks in recycled cups on our boats since 2006.
Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive is a ECO-certified tour operator operating in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and have taken steps to ensure that such as using resuable cups and plates on board.
By 2020 we pledge to have minimized single-use plastic usage at our facility and at dive events. We will offer preference to suppliers who offer alternatives to single-use packaging materials, seek community partners to promote conservation and ocean debris awareness, and offer customers more opportunities to participate in cleanup events.
We only started selling products in 2018 so we were able to pledge from the get-go not to use ANY plastic in our packaging Our mission 2020 pledge will be to continue our commitment to plastic-free packaging as well as created products that will help others live a plastic-free lifestyle.

We lead by example, educating people to recycle & re-use plastic, respectfully explore wrecks and do regular clean-up dives (plastics & ghost fishing nets).
